SolvBTC variants on BSC: check the full token name

A quote for SolvBTC is not automatically a quote for xSolvBTC. They are separate token contracts with different roles. A shared connection to Bitcoin does not make their quantities, prices or exit procedures interchangeable.

The Solv contract registry lists BNB Chain deployments separately, including SolvBTC at 0x4aae823a6a0b376De6A78e74eCC5b079d38cBCf7 and xSolvBTC at 0x1346b618dc92810ec74163e4c27004c921d446a5. Start with that full identity when selecting the swap input. A shortened wallet label can hide the distinction.

Follow the asset through the proposed exit

Solv describes xSolvBTC as a yield-bearing product connected to its Bitcoin staking strategy. Selling it on a DEX exchanges that position for whatever asset the quote names. It does not by itself perform the protocol's redemption process.

The redemption documentation describes an xSolvBTC exit into SolvBTC, with liquidity management supporting that process. Receiving SolvBTC is still different from receiving BTC on the Bitcoin network. An intended Bitcoin withdrawal may require further steps and a service that supports the exact asset.

Compare matching endpoints

For an illustrative comparison, one proposal might sell xSolvBTC directly for USDT on BSC; another might redeem into SolvBTC and then trade. Compare the final USDT amount after the whole sequence, including applicable costs and availability. Do not compare the first proposal's final output with only the second proposal's intermediate balance.

A protocol conversion rate is also not a firm DEX bid for every trade size. Pool liquidity can affect the executable market quote independently of the underlying strategy's accounting.

Record the input contract, intermediate token if any, final network and final asset. This short record is more useful than a generic note that says “sold Bitcoin,” particularly when a wallet contains several BTC-related balances.
