1inch Fusion and CoW Swap are comparable when you want an order executed by competing third parties rather than personally submitting every route transaction. That shared design does not make their auctions, interfaces or order types identical.
Fusion uses resolver-filled orders with auction conditions. CoW Protocol uses solver competition over batch auctions and can combine sources of liquidity. These descriptions establish mechanisms, not a measured ranking of execution quality.
Compare the user constraints

CoW’s native-token guide describes wrapping and the Eth-flow deposit path, with separate costs and interface restrictions. 1inch’s getting-started guide also distinguishes a first approval from the subsequent resolver-funded execution. A gasless label should not conceal either setup requirement.
Price is an offer, not a slogan
Compare what each order commits to deliver, what can remain unfilled and what you pay outside the displayed amount. An attractive estimate on one product is not directly equivalent to a stricter guaranteed minimum on another.
If you need a limit or TWAP order, inspect that specific CoW product rather than assuming an ordinary Fusion swap is its substitute. If you need cross-chain delivery, compare cross-chain products explicitly; same-chain auction descriptions do not establish their recovery rules.
Choose between these providers using the actual order you can sign from your account. Documentation supports a shortlist based on fit. It does not justify naming a universal winner for every token, chain and market condition.
