Fusion+ handles a cross-chain objective, whereas an ordinary Fusion order concerns execution without that same chain boundary. Choosing a token on another network adds settlement coordination; it is not simply a different token in the same swap box.
The official Fusion+ guide describes an intent-based process with maker and resolver, escrow stages and an optional recovery phase. Its recovery mechanism depends on time-lock conditions. That is more specific than a claim that every unsuccessful cross-chain trade instantly returns funds.
Keep the browser workflow in view
The same guide instructs users to keep the trading tab open after submission and enable the relevant notifications. A user who normally closes a swap page immediately should account for that requirement before starting. Read the current instructions for the exact interface being used rather than importing habits from a different bridge.
Prepare the recipient and destination network first. The token symbol should match the intended destination contract, and the receiving account must be one you can use on that network. Successful source-chain activity alone does not prove that the intended recipient has received the final asset.

Compare the expected output and the obligations through completion. A route needing browser participation has a different operational profile from one with no further user action after source submission. Neither distinction establishes a price winner.
If an order is delayed, preserve its state before creating another. Use the provider's order-specific recovery instructions when their conditions apply. A generic promise that “bridges are reversible” is not enough to identify what action is valid for a particular escrow.
