“Supports BNB Chain” is only the start of a support check. The provider may offer a transaction API there while omitting another order mode, or the wallet may hold a token without providing a viable built-in swap.
Record support at the level you need: interface, product, source chain, destination chain, token pair, account type and action. This is a small eligibility matrix, not a score based on the number of advertised networks.

Require evidence for the actual path
For a cross-chain route, test the intended direction in the interface. The ability to receive on a network does not prove you can originate the reverse trade. For a smart account, confirm its signature and approval flow. For a particular token, verify the contract address and whether a current quote is returned.
A contract deployment is strong evidence that code exists on a chain, but weaker evidence that a retail feature is exposed and operational. A valid quote provides more specific availability evidence, though it still expires and does not guarantee later execution.
Use this matrix to eliminate unsuitable candidates before comparing costs. It prevents an unsupported offer from becoming the apparent price winner simply because a broad chain list was mistaken for a promise about your exact trade.
