Swap succeeded but the output token is missing from my wallet

A token can exist at your address without appearing in your wallet’s asset list. First establish whether the swap delivered the expected token to your account; importing a token only changes the display.

Follow the output to its destination

Open the actual swap transaction. Confirm it succeeded, then inspect the output token’s full contract address and recipient. Compare those with the quote you accepted. A matching ticker is insufficient: unrelated contracts can use the same symbol.

If the recipient is an account you control, select that account and the transaction’s network in the wallet. If the recipient is a router, contract or another person, do not assume adding a token will make it spendable from your account.

Check the wallet display

Uniswap’s guidance identifies hidden tokens, tokens not yet added and a wrong selected network as display-related explanations. It also warns that a confirmed approval can be mistaken for a swap.

• Review any hidden-asset section.
• Use the verified output contract when adding a custom token.
• Compare the onchain balance with the displayed balance.
• Separate a missing fiat price from a missing token balance.

ERC-20’s balance and metadata functions are distinct. A wallet’s inability to price a token does not establish that the balance is zero.

If transfer evidence and the token’s balance disagree, preserve both observations and contact official support. Unusual token behavior, unsupported indexing or a misleading contract may need closer inspection. Do not repeat the swap merely to make a wallet row appear.
